We are a small group of English speaking ladies of various nationalities.

The group was started many years ago when some of the ladies from the Anglican church in Eindhoven decided to form a social group for the ladies in the congregation.

We meet the second Wednesday evening in the month, apart from July and August, at each others homes in and around Eindhoven, and have a different activity every month. Some of the activities we have had in the past are reading and music evenings, jewellery making, slide shows, quiz evenings, twitching, pilates and yoga demonstrations. At the moment we are busy making a patchwork quilt which will be either raffled or auctioned off, the proceeds going to our charity, which is the Ronald Macdonald House in Veldhoven.

Each Christmas we hold our Christmas party, to which our husbands and partners are also invited. In June we finish off our programme with our summer party. Last June we visited the small art gallery/museum De Weigert in Deurne followed by a barbecue at one of our members homes. During the months of July and August we have a couple of day trips to places of interest, either travelling by train or car pooling. Last summer we visited the Kasteeltuinen in Arcen and the “Panorama Mesdag” in Scheveningen. September sees our meetings starting again for the season with our A.G.M. followed by a cheese and wine supper.
